This is a 3 night 4 day Safari, also offered at Phinda Private Game Reserve, where rangers and guests are able to track White or Black Rhino on foot, and join the qualified vet and field teams in darting the animal and notching their ears - an essential task to ensure the preservation of this endangered species.

Each Rhino will have a different value notched in its ear, which will allow rangers and the ecologists to identify each animal, and ultimately determine their distribution and population status.

Guests are also able to help the vet take horn measurements, and then have the privilege of having their photos taken with the animal.
