Aboutwalib was born, grew up and studied in Arusha - Tanzania, attaining a Wildlife Certificate from Mount Meru College of Tour Guiding. He also completed a Diploma in Hotel Operation Management / Tourism & Travel Agent Management from Cambridge College {via correspondence}. He attended Mwewe Ranger Training School in 2011 and is currently guiding at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Aboutwalib has worked in a couple of different Hotels in Zanzibar at the front desk. After Zanzibar he moved back to Arusha where he worked with a few local tour companies as a guide. Guiding is his passion, as there is always something to learn while in the field about people, wildlife and the environment. He would like to become one of the best guides / rangers in Africa, as well as in the world.
