Profile: Daniel Scott Ouma was born on the shores of Lake Victoria in western Kenya. He developed a passion for nature at a young age having grown up with nature all around him. Daniel joined &Beyond and worked in Nairobi  for 5 years. He was then deployed to Masai Mara to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a Ranger Guide. He trained at the Mwewe Ranger Training School in Tanzania and successfully completed his level 1 and 2. Daniel has also trained as an Ornithologist at Ornithological school at Elsmere in Naivasha, as well as an Emergency First Aid Responder. Daniel has visited Amboseli, Samburu  and  Meru national parks. Guiding is his passion and considers every day that he spends in the wild a truly new experience.
