Eduard has a deep love for being in the wild after spending many hours as a young boy in the bush with his father. Born in Nelspruit, the capital city of the Mpumalanga province, it was easy to slip away for a weekend into the wilderness areas that were close by.
At the age of ten, however, he moved to the Western Cape with his family, spending more time in the winelands and discovering the fauna and flora relating to the small but diverse Fynbos biome. After finishing his Business Management degree at Stellenbosch University, a year was set aside for travelling. He took the convenient option, working as a tour guide in Southern and Eastern Africa, where valuable experience was gained. After an epic three month hitch hiking adventure through Europe in 2010, it was time to settle down.
His desire and longing for the bush was ironically even bigger after travelling and he is now pursuing a career as a nature guide.
