Profile:

Erasto was born and raised on the base of Ngorongoro Crater.  This is where his love for nature began. When he was young he was always in the bush looking after cattle, sheep and goats. 

He completed high school in 1999 and in the same year was employed at Tarangire Safari Lodge and specialised in preparing cocktails.

In 2001 he joined the college of African Wildlife management - MWEKA for a diploma course and completed it in 2003. 

After that, he worked as a guide and then joined Mwewe training school in 2005. He qualified as a &Beyond guide and went to Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp for 3 years and became assistant head ranger.

He then moved to Klein's Camp in December 2007 where he is currently head ranger.

Erasto enjoys birding and walking. He is currently doing a lion and leopard project.
