I grew up in the desert state of Rajasthan and since childhood had a passion for wildlife where I grew up visiting the jungle with my father and brother, who both had the same passion. I subsequently studied at Mayo College which is a famous boarding school in India, and even at school I was a member of the naturalist history society and we went on a lot of field trips. After school, I went on to complete college in Mumbai, after which I got selected for the naturalist training course with Tajsafaris at Bandhavgarh National Park. Under the watchful eyes of our trainers Graham Vercuil and Sarath Champati, I developed my skills as a naturalist. After the second phase of training I was sent to Pench National Park where I worked for 5 months. I came back to Mahua Kothi in Bandhavgarh as a naturalist in March 2007 and have been here ever since. I am also passionate about wildlife photography which is one of the biggest reasons I love being in the jungle, other than the obvious passion of being close to nature and meeting new people. I love giving my guests these amazing experiences!
