If you are familiar with the formation of the Okavango Delta, find the Thamalakane fault line where the Boro river changes course to the south and you will spot a small village called Matlapaneng. That’s where KD was born and raised.

He started his school years here before completing high school at Maun Senior Secondary School and he also went for National Service. He has a Diploma in Social Studies and English Language, and currently he has enrolled through distant education, pursuing a Diploma in Human Resource Development.

KD developed a love for wildlife and nature in general from a young age, and all through his school days, he was involved in various environmental and conservation clubs. He also worked for other safari companies before
joining &Beyond.

As a qualified guide, he has done a number of skills
enhancement courses related to guiding. He is also a member of Birdlife Botswana and Kalahari Conservation Society.

KD is a Christian and he enjoys outdoor life and travelling. He has a great appreciation for all that nature provides.
