Lyson started with CCAfrica right in the very beginning in 1990 at Londolozi as a chef. He moved to Bongani as a head chef in 1997 and stayed until the end of 1998. From Bongani he joined the Ngala team where he became a ranger in 2003. His mother is a local herbalist and therefore Lyson has an incredible knowledge of the medicinal and cultural uses of plants in the area. He is passionate about educating children and the local people surrounding reserves about the importance of conservation in the modern world.
