Name: Malcolm Bowling
Country: South Africa
Profile:
Brought up in Grahamstown and schooled at St. Andrew's College in the Eastern Cape, I studied fine artS in Port Elizabeth, majoring in painting and printmaking. I lived in London for five years, as well as two years between Australia and New Zealand. I ended my travels by backpacking for 4 months through South East Asia, the Komodo Dragons and Orangutans in Indonesia being the highlight. I have enjoyed various jobs, from desk-top publishing in London, to working in the cotton fields in Australia, as well as spending a year working in a vineyard in New Zealand. I realised through my travels that Africa is my home and there is no other place that can match the people, colour, vibrancy, diversity and of course the fauna and flora of Africa. I am ecstatic to be working with CC Africa at Kirkmans Kamp, in the infamous Sabi Sands. A few of my interests are photography, fly fishing and of course drawing birds and animals!
