Guide's Biography

Meier Kelesaenetse Morija
Name:        Meier Kelesaenetse Morija

Country:     Botswana

Profile:

Meier Kelesaenatse Morija was born in Ramokgonani, a small village in Tswapong. Tswapong is in the Central District of Botswana and is famous for having one of Botswana’s Cultural Heritage in its Tswapong Hills.

During his early days of life, Meier was helping his father during school holidays by herding cattle and from this he fell in love with nature due to his encounter with wild animals and he had a vision of being out there in the wild himself.

His dream of working in the bush became real in 2005 when he joined Mashatu Game Reserve in the Tuli Block as a guide. After Mashatu Game Reserve he moved to &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas where he is currently enjoying his passion. During his holidays he still goes back to his cattle post and tends cattle as he did before.
