Born in 1973 in a village called Mathangwane on the north central part of Botswana, Mompati completed his junior certificate in 1989. He was then employed by a company called Linyanti Explorations as a waiter, which literally gave him a chance to be close to nature. He became interested in becoming a guide and with the support of the company and his fellow team, he was able to fulfill his dream. Mompati decided to join in 2004. He is having such a good time and enjoying the amazing learning opportunities which provide a lot of growth. He has attended several courses including the Inkwazi ranger training in South Africa. He loves the bush, fauna and flora.
