Profile: Ronney started working at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge in 2002 as a butler.  His interest in guiding started early on, and in 2005 he finished his training and did the required Inkwazi training.  Ronney has been appointed head ranger at Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge as of May 2007 and has a very special interest in the desert.  He grew up at Spitzkoppe, an area very similar to mountain lodge in terms of the ecology so his knowledge is defionately invaluable to us.

Bat-eared Fox

On a drive towards the south we saw twelve of these foxes together. They were relaxed and we had great views of them.
