Profile: I was born in a little town called Karatina near the famous Mount Kenya, where our elders prayed facing towards it. It was formerly known as the Kirinyaga Mountain. I went to school in this area where I grew up. I later went to a professional guiding school in Nairobi and later was accepted to the &Beyond Mwewe training college in Tanzania in 2006. My passion for guiding started when I was a small boy because I was brought up near Mt Kenya National Park where I frequently saw and encountered animals, especially elephants. I have a memory of the elephants coming all the way to our home - I particularly loved them and their sounds.
