Profile: After completing an honours degree in Wildlife Science at the University of Natal, I joined the company in January 2001 and guided in the Madikwe Safari Lodge Game Reserve when CCAfrica operated from Tau Game Lodge. After eight months there, I then moved to Phinda, based at Mountain and Rock Lodges. I got involved with the phase two training before leaving the company and spending three years in London with my girlfriend, Jo. A year after marrying Jo I rejoined CCAfrica in January 2006 and am currently a senior ranger and mentor at Kwandwe Private Game Reserve. I have a great interest in birding and began a study on the Crested Guineafowl while guiding at Phinda, which ceased when I left for London. My other passion is for cats and I spend the majority of my off time fishing.
