Guide's Biography

Thembinkosi Dlamini
Name:        Thembinkosi Dlamini

Country:     South Africa

Profile:

I worked for Parks board for a year at Lake St Lucia. I started with Cc Africa in 1992 as a game guard; I worked my way to the top of that job all the time developing my tracking and knowledge base. I was taught the art of tracking by my grandfather. Despite been the youngest in my family my grandfather noticed my interest and developed my skill. I have taken black rhino walks in Mkuzi Game reserve and tracked out of all lodges on Phinda as well as at Londolozi. I have the highest Fagasa tracking qualification, Grade 3 and plan to complete my rifle training and grade one walks shortly. I believe I am a well rounded tracker who loves to tell guests a story of which I have many. My interest in Phinda comes from the diversity of habitats, excellent birding and beautiful cheetah and lions. I am an out standing birder, but if its lions you want ill track then any day of the week.
