Game drive in the Masaai Mara at the moment is amazing. There are so many animals everywhere that sometimes its hard to know what to take photos of. We were at the marsh area with wildebeest, zebra, defassa waterbuck, giraffes and thomsons gazelles all around us. If you look closely, you will notice 2 crocodiles rather close to this wildebeest. We were waiting at the Mara river for a crossing when this "not so clever" wildebeest walked straight past these crocodiles, had a drink and then walked back past the crocs. In the past two weeks we have been seing a few black storks along the sand river. Today we saw one waiding up and down in a little pool, fishing. He was very succesfull. We saw him catch 4 small fish, when he caught a catfish, to big for him to swallow hole. He took it on land and started pearcing it with his beak, in order to kill it. Eventually he ... After following a female cheetah and two cubs,being unsucsessful in catching a female impala which basically escaped from her claws,she moved her young ones to the airstrip to spent the night. Last night we set of to look for leopards. It was a hot afternoon, so we decided to drive along the sand river in hope for some Elephants as well.
