A DRAMATIC SIGHTING: LIONESS TAKES DOWN A ZEBRA
Light showers this afternoon took us to a lioness sighting stalking a dazzle of zebras. I realised that it was the same one that earlier was in a tree which is unusual,and also was the very same lioness that earlier had taken down a water buck which hyenas had chased her off of. We waited as she kept moving closer, down to the last ten metres when she sprang into top speed. With the tough terrain not on the side of the zebra, it took her close to twenty minutes to bring the zebra down.
