In the heart of Maasai territory on the north-eastern boundary of the Serengeti National Park is a private concession of 10 000 hectares, set aside for the exclusive use of Klein's Camp's 20 guests. The spectacular location of the camp on the edge of the Kuka Hills commands sweeping views across a broad valley through which the annual great migration passes.
A kill from the bar.
We were at the bar with the guests having tea, coffee before the evening drive. I took my binos and scan around the valley if i can see any elephants. As i was scanning i saw a lioness just below the bar about 100metres from the bar. Later i realized that they made a kill. There were three cubs with two females. These are the lions we often see on the buffalo hill and we have given the name buffalo hill's pride. I told the guests that were at the bar about the lions, then we rushed toward the kill as the lions started eating. It was great to see them tearing apart the zebra.Lioness were sleeping but the cubs were so busy eating the carcas as you can see from the pictures.
