Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the edge of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square kilometres (3 100 square miles) of pristine African wilderness.

A shady spot!
We are at the heart of our dry season and it can get very hot in the crater floor.So it was a big relief for this one wattled starling to be standing in the shade of this poor tommy.And as this was not enough,another was pestering the poor gazelle trying to pick the ears for ticks.Talk about symbiotic relationships!!!!
