AARDVARK AT XUDUM
We were driving on Ditawana Road (dry savannah) at night and Kenny suddenly shouted, "THERE,THERE,THERE!" Everyone looked in the direction that he pointed and saw an animal running through the long grass to a small termite mound. It went into a shallow hole and it was digging to close the hole as we were there watching. This was a first time sighting for us at Xudum!
Everyone gets really excited upon seeing aardvark. I'm still waiting to see one after 14 trips to Africa. I know they are very hard to see, so you all were very fortunate and especially to have seen it trying to close up the hole. Cool!
