Aardvark on foot!
Walking in the bush is a firm favourite with me and I love being out there on foot. On this particular day I was in the same area where we had seen the aardvark just a few days ago. I couldn't believe our luck when we saw the same individual digging for ants and very unconcerned by our presence. This is such an unusual phenomenon, yet again in broad daylight! We were able to sit quietly and let it approach us to within three or four metres. It still baffles me why it seemed so unconcerned by our presence - these creatures can actually hear termites and ants underground, so we should be able to rule out the option of it not being able to detect us. It was very relaxed indeed and gave us some unforgettable moments.
