Aardwolf
It was on eleventh october 2009 at night game drive that we saw a very strange animal like hyeana between airfield and mara river.Although very shy but we manage to get a close view and found out it was an Aardwolf, my first sighting ever of this very rare spicies.Again on 13.10.09 at night drive we confirmed when we found foraging near Bateleur camp.
Oh Joseph I am so excited for you and of course the guests you had in your vehicle. Wow, two sightings so close together - that is great. Have the other Guides seen any aardwolf's in the Mara before? It's only been 2-1/2 weeks since we left Kichwa and I miss you guys so much. Now I'll have to wait ANOTHER year to get back to KTC :<(
