Sheltering below the plunging walls of the Great Rift Valley lies the quintessentially serene Lake Manyara Tented Camp, tucked in an evergreen forest on bird-rich Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park is where Ernest Hemingway camped on the hunting safari that inspired his book, Green Hills of Africa.
African fish eagle on hunt attempt !!
This what some one can call lake manyara, a pink lake. The sun was going down shinning on lesser flamingo , even for those who are not bird watchers would like to see this beauty of the small and attractive park. We stopped every body with binoculars on, from west of the lake we heard Afircan fish eagle calling you could tell that you re in Africa by a call of the african fish eagle. The eagle flew over our head toward the lake direction and flamingo saw the eagle took off, the attempt was not succesful, but we had few sighting of fish eagle eatting flamingo before.
