AGAINST ALL ODDS
This is new pride of lions only on the side of males but the females are the one that occupies from Seneto springs through goose ponds up to Lake Magadi and to the Hippo poll. On the side of males according to the origin of the three dominant males they have dark manes so they have blonde mane it means they come from outside of the crater from the Northwest and descendent down via the Maasai cow trails and dominate that part they have five tiny cubs about a month old in that pride still is a good sign for the carter to get a new blood and to avoid the interbreeding that has been happening since long ago that shows the dominant male are now getting old that they can not patrol the whole of the crater as they used to do and on the other hand soon they are going to loose all of their territories
It was in the morning about 10H40 five female of that pride including those two males set off for a hunt they organized themselves very well, it was close by the hippo pool and that area was covered with about ten elephants and in a distance they were five zebras were approaching and with their passion they waited until the zebras came very close and one separated her self from a heard just a meter away and she became the target guess what happened ..?five females and two males they could not manage to catch that zebra and funny enough on that chase one lioness hanged on the neck of that zebra and it was not a full grown zebra and she slide off that lioness and left them without any food for their cubs. Seven against one!!?
