ALMOST EVERYONE HAS BABIES!
After the long dry season that hit the crater very hard resulting in the drying of Lake Magadi for the first time ever, the past two months of short rains have changed the entire area for the better. The whole area looks beautiful; the contrast between the colours is outstanding. Green vegetation with lots of different flowers; morning glories, ipomeas, lilies solanums, euphorbia, cape chest nuts and many others As a result it has offered a great atmosphere to support more life. Today we had a number of sightings of different animals and birds with babies. Just to remember some; Gray crowned crane couple had three babies, Egyptian goose with eight goslings, a number of different antelopes with young, zebras, lions, jackals, spotted hyenas, baboons, warthogs, hippos, a cheetah with three cubs, elephants etc. Babies are always cute and special to see.
