Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp consists of ten delightful tents tucked away in the extraordinary Serengeti National Park - widely seen as the planet's greatest functioning ecosystem. The Grumeti River has some of the world's biggest hippos and Nile Crocodiles. During certain times of year, you have a ring-side seat for the famous great migration.
ANOTHER SET OF CUBS IN THE MAKING
While on an evening game drive, we came across the ranger post pride consisting of 13 lions. What was noticeable was that there was one male and the oldest female was missing from the pride. This is the same female who last year was suckling a set of cubs who currently she has just weaned. We later found them 700 metres away from the main pride and the while we sat there the male lion mounted her. Hopefully if she conceives we will be watching her closely as we prepare to receive another set of cubs. GO RANGER POST PRIDE!
