Baby Duiker undetected by lion cubs

This morning we were watching a lioness and her 2 youngsters and on the left of us a duiker suddenly sprinted in the opposite direction. As the duiker ran off, it lokked like afterbirth had fallen to the ground. At this stage the youngsters were running around and playing heading in the direction of the afterbirth. We all sat watching holding our breaths and finally breathed when the youngsters headed back to mom for a morning nap. As we left the sighting, I went past to were the afterbirth was and lying as still as a rock was a newborn duiker hoping not to be seen by us. Hopefully the lions moved off and mom duiker came back to the rescue.
