Lake Manyara
Sheltering below the plunging walls of the Great Rift Valley lies the quintessentially serene Lake Manyara Tented Camp, tucked in an evergreen forest on bird-rich Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park is where Ernest Hemingway camped on the hunting safari that inspired his book, Green Hills of Africa.

Ground water forest is a spot that can attract anybody attention who is visiting the park. I was about two minutes from the main gate when i encountered an African crowned eagle on the mahogan tree feeding on something that i was not able to identify.

Recently I submitted a sight with the heading "Battle for dominance". Finally i found a big black spitting cobra on the same area where I saw two fighting. The snake was not out of the hole as half of its body was still in the hole, but you could tell how big the snake was. Eventurely the Dominant was there!

This lioness seem to be very very comfortable up on the paper backed acacia tree, as the sun was down you feel she is planning for evening hunt.
