Birds of Ngala

Been a cold raining morning this morning on Ngala there was not much to be seen but as always the bird were very active. Setting out from Ngala tented camp we were on the look out for one of our star ten birds the Stierling’s Wren-Warbler one that is not often seen. We seem to here this elusive bird more than see it anyway searching it’s preferred habitat and some of the places we often here it calling we had no luck with it but did manage to find some other uncommon birds on Ngala. Lizard Buzzard and red faced Cisticola were some of the more uncommon birds seen this morning and then some really good sightings of Red Crested Korhaan and Southern Ground Hornbill, along with lots more common one’s the Cisticola been a lifer for most of my Guest.
