It was in the morning, after 10 minutes drive we saw a pack of 8 African wild dogs, one of the world’s most endangered species. Within a few minutes they started trotting towards a herd of impala and took off chasing the impala. They caught one within some seconds. These predators happen to feed unbelievably fast - in less than 5 minutes it was all over...

This time we picked up a leopard walking along the road for about 5 minutes before moving into a tree to chase a tree squirrel. The squirrel went into the tree bark to hide, and the leopard spent a few minutes chasing it before it took a break to rest. Then the leopard started peeling the bark away and exposed the squirrel, so the squirrel quickly ran...

In Chobe National park, we saw a skulk of jackals, about six of them. It is not a rare sighting to see jackals here in Chobe, but the fascinating thing was seeing them in a group. We then carried on with our game drive and picked up a herd of Puku antelopes by the river. There was a crocodile in the river waiting for his meal, which did not happen because...

We went out for a game drive in Central Kalahari Game reserve, and this was a very productive tour with springbok, gemsbok, and a mating pair of lions. This was on the 14 of February, a valentine day for lions too! The male lion was not happy, to accommodate us get near them, of which we all understood. We parked our vehicle a good distance away from them...

After a long game drive looking for cats, we picked up a beautiful leopard up on an acacia tree. There were some impalas at a distance - he all of a sudden got up and showed an interest in these impala. He quickly dropped off the tree and started stalking the impala – it was very exciting to see this cat lowering its body almost to the ground level. It...

We were watching a herd of Elephants crossing this dry river bed when two of them crossed at the same time. It looked as if they had practiced it. The herd then crossed the Mara river all together.

While on drive near the Mara river, we saw a herd of Elephants crossing this dry river bed. This one in particular was quite entertaining as it tripped in a hole and looked like Michael Jackson doing the moonwalk. It was really cute.

We watched a whole herd of Elephants cross the Mara river which was amazing to witness. The herd crossed the river in a group with the little ones in the middle and adults on the outside. We then noticed a male chasing a female through the water with his trunk over her back. He was clearly "looking for love". He chased her all the way accross the...

After being chased around the banks of the Mara river, then across the river and again on the other side, you would think this female would not be interested! But I think she was too tired to keep running, so she gave up. Our ranger Arnold said, "He didnt even ask her out on a date or ask her what her name was!" Well, it was the first time I have ever...
