BUFFALO VS. ELEPHANT
Written by Meier Morija: Provoking someone on a good rest can be a dangerous act especially if you undermine him.We witnessed a heated fight between 2 bulls with the elephant bull being around 20 years of age. The elephant started what he thought would be an easy thing as he challenged the Dagga boy who was sitting in a small mudhole after enjoying a mud wallow. The elephants idea was to chase the buffalo out of there, something the buffalo was not prepared to do. The elephant got angry and pushed the buffalo out successfully only for him to stop after a few metres to watch the elephant take over his mud bath..what went through the buffalo's head we don’t know, but he charged the elephant at full speed, which completely took the elephant by surprise, so he ran away and left the pool for the buffalo.
