CHEETAH CUBS

We are excited to announce the arrival of four new cheetah cubs on the Phinda Private Game Reserve. Although the  last five cubs found were very short lived we hope these will fare better as there mother is older and more experienced.

Today was my first sighting of these small puff balls and they are too cute beyond words. Their lively natures keep one entranced as they bound through the grass and scamper up trees. Their mother has a full time job of looking out for danger, providing them with milk, hunting for herself and constantly calling to her cubs, trying to keep them close. I hope for many more sightings of these four little ones.
