CHOBE
Being at Chobe under Canvas allows guests the opportunity to be some of the first to be in the park and having sightings all to themselves before the wave to game drive vehicles come in from Kasane for their day trips. This was one of those sightings where a family of elephants came to the water’s edge, one adult in front of the babies and slowly started to cross. The youngsters would hold onto the adults' tails in front of them. They also got assistance from the adults coming from behind. During this time of the year the elephants are seen doing this on a regular basis so that they can access the green grasses on the floodplains.
