Dogs And Cats.
With the game viewing been so good on Ngala at the moment on the afternoon of the 23 of December my guests had seen everything and had also visited Mala Mala and Londolozi, so we decided to just take a slow drive up to one of our dams and sit there and watch the sun go down in the most absolute pristine African bush. On arrival to the dam there were some water buck drinking and some impalas playing in the back ground. After choosing a good spot to stop at we set up the drinks. After some time there the resident Hippo had given us some good displays and the African fish eagle swishing over head, it was nearly time to pack up and start heading back to camp when all of a sudden on the dam wall I noticed a hole pack of African wild dogs so the one thing that we had not seen was them and in all my excitement I rushed every one onto the land rova and off we went to follow them within a hart beat they dashed off and we followed in hot pursuit when we found them again they were busying chasing a leopard off its kill and now the game was on the leopard running away with 2-3 dogs after it and the rest of the pack devouring the impala this was unbelievable, what a awesome afternoon after all that we returned to the drinks table to celebrate the day.
