Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is sheltered in a forest of wild palms and fig trees and flanked by the papyrus-rich channels of the Okavango Delta. The sensitively designed lodge witnesses the ever-changing moods of the Delta, from wintry oasis to rainy rejuvenation.
DOGS IN THE OKAVANGO DELTA
After finding two male lions on a kill we were pretty happy with how the afternoon had turned out. That was until we found a pack of ten Wild dogs on an island as the sun was starting to set. We watched them crossing water very tentatively, probably because of crocodiles. Eventually they faded into the thick bush around us as they carried on with their evening hunt.
