DOUBLE BANDED SANDGROUSE (MALE)
We often see the Double-banded Sandgrouse while driving along the sandy roads in the Sossusvlei area. This male Double-banded Sandgrouse was seen in Namib-rand private nature reserve. It is also found in Angola, Malawi. RSA, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana and Zambia.Male Sandgrouse are famous for transporting water in their soaked belly feathers.
