EXETER WEEKEND

It has been a rather interesting week at the Exeter lodges (Dulini, Exeter River and Leadwood) with exceptional Leopard sightings; including a female scaling a number of trees in a short period of time, and a male meandering down a scenic riverbed only to drink at regular intervals.

But the animals that have capped this week off have to include an amazing Serval sighting and the the presence of Wild Dogs. Yesterday a number of us headed across the river to be spoiled by the playful antics of the Wild Dog pack. The dogs were found asleep, but awoke only to go splash about in a nearby wallow. We left the pack to their own devices before having to scurry back across the river after reports of the rapidly rising water level.
