Eyes too big for your stomach?
Over the past few months we have been seeing many different animals on Kwandwe running around with young ones. Some more than others this year. The jackals have come back in full force presenting us with many different sightings. On one particular afternoon we witnessed one of these small carnivores, only one, in a slightly out of the ordinary chase. This very determined little jackal had a young kudu in its sights! We watched this ambitious jackal chase this into into very thick drainage line where they both dissapeared, leaving us very surprised and impressed, listening to frantic distress calls bellowing from the thickets..
