GECKOS OF SOSSUSVLEI
As the sun sets in the desert and the surrounding areas are in a wash of colour from reds and oranges, the silence is broken with the calls of the Common Barking Geckos that serenade you until the sun comes up in the morning. It is the males that call from the entrance of their barrows, attracting females. With a trained eye it is possible to see these little creatures on a night drive.
