Kirkman's Kamp
Kirkman's Kamp, with its spectacular views of the unspoilt wilderness and the Sabi Sand River, is regarded as one of the best loved lodges in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. A well known historic camp, originally built in the early 1920's Kirkmans Kamp celebrates the atmosphere of an early South African lowveld homestead.

Good fisherman
In the past two weeks we have been seing a few black storks along the sand river. Today we saw one waiding up and down in a little pool, fishing. He was very succesfull. We saw him catch 4 small fish, when he caught a catfish, to big for him to swallow hole. He took it on land and started pearcing it with his beak, in order to kill it. Eventually he managed to kill it and started consuming it. That was amazing to watch the black stork fish, and what a skilled fisherman he was.
