GREAT RECEPTION
Driving by the open plain is a lot of fun at the moment as the area is becoming very busy with the resident wildebeest and zebra. It is also agood time for the cats, such as the lions, to show why they are called so. They are not leaving the kanyanja river, which is the most attractive area for all of the animals wanting a place to drink at. During at least two game drives we go on these days, there is almost always a good chance of seeing a kill by these big cats. This is frequent occurence is most likely as a result of their cubs. It is really a lot of fun to watch these cubs playing with the kill. It looks as if they receive a great reception from their mother. She welcomes them in the field of wilderness. There has been a massacre of wildebeest in the past two days with three killed. The Grumeti pride killed s two wildebeest yesterday and one zebra today. By now they must have killed a wildebeest today already. It is an incredible area at the moment to view kills such as these. Sometimes there are just simply no words to explain how and why these cats are able to achieve so many kills in such short periods of time.
