We have seen her around for two weeks now. This female cheetah is a super hunter. During the first day that we saw her she chased a young female gazelle, but missed. On the second day we found her eating. After two days she chased and missed again. The next day she chased and caught a gazelle. So we knew that if she hunted today and we followed that she...

I asked for a cheetah and Kilian delivered! Of course it was running frantically past and my camera was idle - but I grabbed it quickly and got the fleeting shot...

When we saw a mother impala running with her young, we we were all asking ourselves why they were running so fast from the bush? But within just a matter of seconds we saw this martial eagle flying from the thick cover where the impalas came from. I have seen martial eagles taking some mammals but I haven’t seen him taking an impala. But we took...

Driving to the sundowner hill we spotted one of the lionesses lying on the rocks. As I looked at her, I saw that her teets looked big, as if she is had cubs which she was feeding. Then she got up and went down the hill. As we started following her she went into the bush and came out with a little cub in her mouth. She took it to another bush. We watched...

At the afternoon drive we drive to the Grumeti River to try find the colobus monkey and huge crocodiles. We were watching a big raft of hippo sunbathing out of the water. Suddenly they all started running to the water and there was a small little baby laying in the sand. Suddenly one of the big hippos got out and bit the baby and start running with it in...

A few minutes into our drive, we came across a small group of wildebeest. They were drinking water and heading back for grazing. When they were grazing on the open clearing, we realised that there was only one zebra surrounded by many wildebeest. After pointing it out, one of my guests said that each game drive is unique.

We were on a game drive this morning and apart from seeing good sightings, like a pride of lion with tiny cubs; we saw a big male lion lying down. It seemed he was digesting what he'd consumed the night before. Suddenly, a dazzle of zebra were coming toward him, without knowing of his presence. Eventually they got very close. Then the male lion decided...

The crocodile digestive system is remarkable for several reason, firstly the stomach is the most acidic recorded for any verterbrate, alowing the crocodile to digest all the bones it consumes. second about 60percent of the energy contained it the food it eats is stored away as fat in the tail.
This croc has been holding in his mouth the head of...

For two days we have witnessed the great migration in all its magnitude in the western corridor of the Serengeti, mostly on the north side of the Grumeti River. Poor rains in the Serengeti have meant that the herds have moved northward now toward the Mara. Spectacular sight!
