HYENA CUB
Hyenas are such misunderstood, and sadly often disliked animals. This little cub was playing and running all around a termite mound that is being used as a den site, and eventually sat right near the top of the mound, trying to win over everyone's heart.
Hyenas often get a bad reputation but they are typically none threatening to humans both in the wild and in captivity.

Thats a lovely photo of a Hyena cub. I have been to a number of game reserves in South Africa but am yet to see a Hyena. Can you advise me on the best time of day to see one? Is it early mornings or late at night after dark? Thanks for your help.
