Kirkman's Kamp
Kirkman's Kamp, with its spectacular views of the unspoilt wilderness and the Sabi Sand River, is regarded as one of the best loved lodges in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. A well known historic camp, originally built in the early 1920's Kirkmans Kamp celebrates the atmosphere of an early South African lowveld homestead. |
KEEPING IN THE LOOP
Every now and again we have the most incredible sightings. Today's wild dog / vulture interaction was no exception. But sometimes a photo says more than a 1000 words. At Kirkman's Kamp we also use a Facebook page where you can follow us on a daily basis. Please look up Kirkmans Kamp Private Game Reserve on Facebook and then Click , LIKE. This will Not only ensure that you get updates on Wildwatch, when there is an incredible sighting but also on Facebook, when some times pictures speak louder than words. A picture of a leopard lying on a rock may bring your minds eye back to the bush, with the birds calling and the Vultures decending and then the peace and tranquility is shattered by and elephants trumpet.
