On my evening game drive we came across two young leopard males in a tree. We spent some time watching them. On the opposite side there was group of about a hundred buffalos. One of the leopards got up and started to stalk a buffalo. It took him about ten minutes to get close to the buffalo. Realising that there was a leopard nearby, the buffalo chased...

In East Africa and probably the rest of Africa, the population of Black Rhino has decreased dramatically due to poaching. In the Serengeti the population of Black Rhino remain only in the South East and no one is allowed to view them in that area. But recently a few Black Rhino were introduced from South Africa in the North East of the...

Leopard are highly territorial. On the evening drive we saw a leopard with a kill up in a tree. Later on during the night on our way back to the camp we saw a mother together with her cub feeding. We spent time watching them eating, coming down and going up again. The sky was clear and we could see all the stars clearly as we look up through the branches...

On our way to Black rock, which is north west of the Klein's Reserve, we saw a lioness walking in the distance. There was a herd of buffalos nearby, about 250 of them. We thought she was after them. We stopped to watch with our binoculars and we saw more lionesses walking toward the buffalos. Most of the buffalos have moved a little farther away. Then all...

It was an early morning when we started the game drive! We saw three lion cubs in the distance who were hiding. We couldn't take any pictures as they were very young probably three weeks old. We continued on with our drive. An hour later we saw four cheetah cubs. We first thought they were honeybadgers. They were coming toward the road and were...

After the short rains in the area, Kleins Wildlife Reserve looks beautiful with green landscapes full of different species of flowers. As we drive around, our eyes are shocked with the beauty of the scenery, and the shining and colourful flowers like morning glory, white and pink ink flower, fireball lily, flame lily etc. We have also seen a congress of...

There was plenty of things to see on the way, from birds, antelopes, herds of buffaloes, elephants and a journey of giraffe. We stopped for the bush breakfast at Black rock around eightish. Afterward...

A pride of three lions had killed a Zebra and 4 jackals were hanging around to try and steal some of the kill. There was also a Hyena close by. Two of the jackals played as a decoy getting close to the lions. As the lions were chasing them the other two had a chance to get in and managed to take the leg but could not go far and feed comfortably as the...

During the drive we were watching a group of hartebeest when we spotted a leopard stalking them about ten meters away. Suddenly a lioness saw the leopard and chased it, forcing it to go up a tree. The best part was that we were able to get close to the leopard for a wonderful sighting, since it would not come down because of the lioness.

On our evening game drive we came across six different leopards in an hour. We drove through Muhanga road where one of the female leopards had a kill, but when we saw her the day before she was by herself, and now she brought her cubs in for the meal. We spent some time with them and when we left, we took Silio road to the south. We then we across three...
