Leopard love
We'd had a good morning and,with our coffee done,we started making our way back to the lodge. As we were driving along,the call came in that someone had found a male leopard in the Timbivati River bed. We decided to go have a look as it was not too far from where we were. As we approached the area on the river banks we were told that there was no longer just one leopard there, but that a female had now joined him. As we stopped the female stood up and walked over to the male "presenting" herself and making her intentions clear. They mated for a brief moment before each went and lay intheir own piece of shade. Due to the shy nature of leopard and their preference for thick bush, this behaviour is seldom seen so it really was a great sighting.
