Lioness kills warthog.
It was a beautiful morning drive when one of the guides spotted lions in the very far distance. As we got closer, they moved onto a termite mound to get a good view of any possible prey. We sat for a while watching them and all of a sudden, one female got up and started stalking a warthog through the long grass. It was a female warthog with 3 youngsters. The three lionesses went in different directions and the chase was on. The oldest female caught the warthog and the others rushed over to her. Then, the female left the kill while the other two started feeding. A few minutes later she arrived back with the four cubs that had been hiding while the action was happening. It was an amazing sighting to see.
