Immersed in monkey-rich forest, Kichwa Tembo is an opulent oasis of Hemingway-style tents with sweeping views of the greatest grassland system in the world - the exquisite Masai Mara. Kichwa Tembo Bateleur Camp is a smaller, exclusive camp adjacent to the main camp.
MIGRATION IS BACK AGAIN
The reverse migration is back again for the third round this year. We were all (guides) fortunate this morning in the Mara Triangle to witness at least a million wildebeest and zebras herding towards &Beyond Kichwa Tembo wildlife area. Although you can never be sure what tomorrow holds as far as the bush/nature is concerned, but we hope that within the next two days we will be able to see them directly from the camp grounds. Already at least two thousand animals crossed our airstrip and into our private &Beyond Kichwa Tembo area.
That sounds great! We saw that herd at another spot last week. It must be wonderful that they are now so near to Kichwa!

Joseph - Lucky, lucky you and all the other folks that are visiting the Mara. It sure has been a crazy migration this year. Asante sana for all your recent updates.
