Mr. Honey Badger -No Bees nor Honey.

This particular Honey Badger at Kudu Alley first Salt Lick has been sighted in a frenzy. Around 2130hrs, our spot light caught this rather small black and white carnivore who seemed not to care of our presence. The wind was so cold evry one on board was fumbling to the game drive blankets but quite amazed to see this badger digging from site to site in the loose sand. For 15 minutes we watched the process but there was nothing tangible seen from the excarvations. We were left with so many questions to whether the search was for dung beetles or ants. On drawing closer we realized that the animal had a big scar at the back probably inflicted by a predator or sustained from a territorial fight. We all finally said, "Mr. Honey Badger - sorry! No bees Nor Honey.
