NEW CHEETAH CUB

What a year! A new cheetah cub has been found. It seems to be only slightly younger than the other four, and is still less than three months old as its mother is still lactating.

They are spending most of their time in the open grasslands and the cub is getting used to vehicles rather quickly. There were probably more cubs in this litter initially, but cheetah cubs are very vulnerable and often a younger female will lose the majority, if not all her cubs. We hope that this cub's fate is brighter.
